Status Update

Situation Summary

Though the fire will be 100% contained at 6pm today, daily CALFIRE engine patrols will continue to check for any residual smokes. Thank you to Lake County Sheriff’s office, North Shore, Lakeport, Kelseyville, South lake, and Lake County fire districts. Also Lake County public works department, the Lakeport Rod and Gun Club and Lampson Field for their cooperation during this and all the recent fires in Lake County.

CAL FIRE would also like to thank the citizens affected by the fires and their willingness to evacuate early for their safety and helping to allow our firefighters to focus on structure defense and fire perimeter control.
