Current Situation
Situation Summary
Firefighters continue to make good progress as they strengthen control lines and provide structure defense throughout the Mill Fire area. Critical fuel moistures are a concern as the weather gets warmer and dryer. The fire is not anticipated to spread. Damage assessment teams began validating damaged or destroyed structures. The Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office has lifted some Evacuation Orders and Warnings, allowing residents to return. For information on returning home after a wildfire, visit readyforwildfire.org.
