Current Situation

Situation Summary

Overnight, fire crews patrolled the fire area to extinguish smoldering pockets in heavy vegetation. An Excessive Heat Warning remains in effect through Saturday. Despite the extreme heat, firefighters will continue working in steep, rugged terrain to strengthen containment lines. Suppression repairs will also continue in the fire area to repair damage.
