Current Situation

Situation Summary

Last night, Friday, Nov. 22, at approximately 9:00 p.m., this fire reignited from high winds, from an ember in an interior pocket of heat causing a spread from the fire’s edge.

At approximately 3 a.m. this morning, the fire made a significant run downslope, crossing over Horseshoe Meadows Road. However, as of 6:30 a.m., the fire had significantly slowed its rate of spread and had received precipitation.

Road Closures
