Current Situation
Situation Summary
CAL FIRE, along with local and federal resources, is working to contain a vegetation fire near Forest Road 24 and Forest Road 40N57 in the Pondosa/Hambone area. The fire began in three 100x100 large log decks and spread to nearby timber and grass, affecting more than 14.9 acres. Firefighters contine to stregthen containmentkins and mop up hot spots. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
