UPDATE December 18, at 8:00AM - The fire remains at 30 acres and is 80% contained. Crews remain on scene working on full containment and suppressing hot spots within the burn area.

EVACUATION WARNINGS remain in effect for the following zones:

JUR-0102B (North of Frazer Drive & Rockridge Road, South of Jurupa Road & Laurel Ridge Drive, East of Camino Real, West of Lakeside Drive & 45th Street.)

JUR-0033B (North of Lakeside Drive, South of Jurupa Road, East of Laurel Ridge Drive, West of Javelina Court.)

UPDATE December 18, 1:15AM - The fire remains at 30 acres and is now 20% contained. Crews continue to make progress on the perimeter of the fire.

Evacuation Orders have been changed to Camino Real South of Jurupa Road and Laurel Ridge Drive to North of Frazer Drive and Rockridge Road, and East of Camino Real to West of Lakeside Drive and 45th Street.

Evacuation Warning has changed to Camino Real from South of Jurupa Road to North of Lakeside Drive and East of Laurel Ridge to West of Javelina Court.

All road closures have been lifted.

UPDATE December 17, 11:09pm -The fire has been mapped at 30 acres and remains at zero percent contained. Crews are making progress and establishing control lines and will remain on scene overnight.

UPDATE December 17, 10:21PM - A Care and Reception Center is being established at Patriot High School, 4355 Camino Real, Jurupa Valley.

Road Cosures - Jurupa Road at Camino Real east to Valley Way, and Camino Real from Jurupa Road south to Live Oak Drive.

UPDATE December 17, 9:21PM - Evacuation Orders are in place for Camino Real and the following cross street – Laurel Ridge Drive, Pebblewood Court, Cottontail Court, Black Hills Drive and Sundance Drive . Firefighters will remain at scene for several hours for salvage and overhaul.

Firefighters are on scene of an approximately 10-acre vegetation fire, near Soto Avenue and Sedona Drive in Jurupa Valley. Additional resources have been requested, no evacuations or injuries have been reported. Updates as conditions change.
