Situation Summary
[UPDATE 05/25/24 6:08 P.M.] Firefighters have made good progress as the fire remains at 34 acres and 80% contained. One Cal Fire firefighter sustained minor injuries and was transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital for further evaluation.
[UPDATE 05/25/24 2:32 P.M.] The forward rate of spread has stopped and the fire remains at 34 acres.
[UPDATE 05/25/24 2:21 P.M.] The fire is mapped at approximately 34 acres. The Morongo Fire Department and Hemet City Fire are assisting.
Firefighters are on scene of 10 acre vegetation fire with a moderate rate of spread. Winds coming from the west are playing a factor.
