Current Situation

Situation Summary

Fire activity today was minimal. Firefighters continue to mop up and patrol within the perimeter of the fire while construction of fireline progresses. Please use caution when traveling through the area.

Temperature increases expected today were limited by cloud cover over the fire area reaching the upper 80’s. Relative humidity ranged from 22-26%. Tomorrow’s weather is anticipated to be consistent with today’s observations but slightly warmer. Warming will continue through the weekend. 

Fire suppression repair is ongoing in an effort to minimize surface erosion and protect watersheds and habitats.

Damage Inspections have been completed and the affected property owners have been notified.
