Current Situation

Situation Summary

Fire behavior was minimal today with most activity observed in islands of unburned vegetation that are burning and smoldering. Firefighters continued fireline construction, strengthening of established lines and mop-up of heat pockets along the perimeter today. These efforts will continue overnight.

Weather over the fire area will remain typical for the fire area with relative humidities improving overnight. Slightly warmer temperatures are expected through Thursday.

Fire suppression repair has begun in some areas to minimize surface erosion and protect watersheds and habitats.

Damage Inspectors are conducting assessments, the information will be made available when they are completed.
