Firefighters are aggressively mopping up the area and continue to improve control lines. A hot and relatively dry airmass remains across the fire area, boosting afternoon temperatures to 100+ degrees for the second straight day. Hot conditions will continue Sunday, along with gusty afternoon winds. Please stay vigilant and aware of emergency vehicles traveling in the vicinity of the fire to ensure both your safety and the safety of the firefighters.
