Current Situation
Situation Summary
Fire activity remained minimal overnight, with no active fire spread. Firefighters patrolled the fireline and extinguished hot spots. Today, hand crews and bulldozers will continue to build and reinforce containment lines. Hot spots are being extinguished using air and ground firefighting resources, with helicopters targeting the hottest spots with water drops. Weather conditions will continue to pose a challenge, as high temperatures and low humidity will impact the fire area throughout the week.
