Incident Update White Fire

Situation Summary

Fire crews and bulldozers are actively building and reinforcing containment lines. The weather forecast predicts higher temperatures and lower humidity. Crews successfully burned a portion of the interior island of grass and brush, with plans to burn the rest tonight or tomorrow, depending on weather conditions. This planned burn will not threaten the containment and perimeter lines, though smoke will be visible during the process. Fire crews are on-site and will monitor the situation closely.

Evacuation ORDER is in effect. Leave NOW. Visibility in the area will be reduced and roads may become blocked; if you do not leave now, you could be trapped, injured or killed. Critical access roads may be cut off due to fire or fire department equipment working in the area.
