Situation Summary

Extreme heat and low humidity created tough conditions for firefighters, demanding increased vigilance and endurance to manage the conditions effectively. Crews will continue throughout the night to construct and fortify control lines and mop up hot spots.
Evacuations: There have been changes to the areas under evacuation orders and warnings, but they remain in effect. Traffic control points are also in place. The evacuation shelter at Cameron Park CSD remains open.
