Incident Update Eagle Fire

Situation Summary

CAL FIRE/Riverside County firefighters responded to reports of a vegetation fire at Cajalco Road X Eagle Canyon Road, east of Corona. The first arriving engine company reported five acres burning at a rapid rate. The fire is currently 450 acres and 0% contained. Multiple air and ground resources assigned. Updates will be posted as information becomes available.

7:51 p.m. [UPDATE] The evacuation WARNINGS for the Terramor Community have been released. This encompasses zones RVC-1162, RVC-1163, RVC-1164, RVC-1165, RVC-1166, RVC-1167, RVC-1264 AND RVC-1268. The fire remains 450 acres and the forward progress has been stopped.

A care and reception site has been established at Santiago High School: 1395 E. Foothill Parkway, Corona. Animals can be taken to the Riverside County Animal Shelter: 6851 Van Buren Boulevard, Jurupa Valley. 

Numerous firefighting air tankers from throughout the State are flying fire suppression missions as conditions allow.
