Current Situation
Situation Summary
The Metz Fire has burned 1100 acres of grassland, which is 30% contained. The fires progression has now been stopped by the augmentation of aircraft and ground resources making good progress. Ground resources will remain on scene to reinforce the control lines along the fire's edge.
