Current Situation
Situation Summary
Crews are continuing with suppression repair and are working on establishing and strengthening control lines. Today’s weather is dry, with temperatures in the near or below 90s. However, a slight cooling trend is expected over the next few days, along with wind gusts expected to reach up to 35 mph until tomorrow evening. Damage inspections have been completed, with 78 inspections conducted.
The public is advised to stay informed about current fire conditions, follow road closures and evacuation orders, and avoid downed electrical wires, reporting any issues to PG&E. Fire crews and utility companies will continue working in the area to address any remaining fire concerns, restore utilities, and strengthen infrastructure.
On Tuesday, the acreage of the fire updated to 17,600, based on new aerial data.
