Current Situation

Situation Summary

Firefighters will continue with repair efforts on suppression measures and are focused on setting up and reinforcing control lines. The fire has primarily been moving slowly and smoldering in certain parts of the perimeter, particularly on steep and rugged terrain. Today, clear weather is expected, and a slight cooling trend is anticipated over the next few days. Wind gusts are expected to reach up to 35 mph by later tonight. Damage inspections have been finalized, with a total of 78 conducted. This weekend, weather conditions are expected to warm up slightly and remain dry.

 All evacuations were lifted this morning at 6:00 AM. (9/12/2024)
