Current Situation

Situation Summary

Firefighters will work throughout the day building and strengthening containment lines, additionally the crews will be mopping up and cooling hot spots near the fire perimeter. The northern portion of the fire is burning through vegetation that was affected by the 2020 Mineral Fire. Weather will remain hot and dry through the weekend, with some mild relief in temperatures moving into next week.
