Current Situation
Situation Summary
The fire is now 100% contained and LCFPD command is terminated. The incident is being turned over to City of Clearlake, CA - Government for repopulation.
At this time repopulation for residents north of 18th Ave. is planned for 7 p.m.
As a department, made up heavily of community members, we plan to be with you for the repopulation. There will be emergency vehicles in the area to show our support for all who were impacted.

Crews made significant progress yesterday on hot spots within the fire perimeter. Some of the priorities for todays’ operational period include areas around Woodland College, and Obsidian Middle School
Preliminary damage reports show;
- 33 residential structures destroyed
- 6 residential structures damaged
- 22 outbuildings destroyed
- 80 vehicles destroyed
As we gain containment on the Boyles Fire, we urge members of our community to remain vigilant in fire safety. National weather service released a weather advisory for Lake County this morning. “Breezy winds and low RH values will create locally critical fire weather conditions for Lake County”.
