Situation Summary

Air and ground resources responded to a brush fire at around 3:30 p.m. today (1/23) at Gilman and Via Alicante within the City of San Diego. Evacuation orders have been lifted and the San Diego Fire Department has reported the fire's forward progress has been stopped. Nearby roads will remain blocked as mop-up continues.
