Current Situation

Situation Summary

There has been no increase in fire acreage, and crews made notable progress, expanding containment along the fire’s perimeter. Firefighters remained focused on mop-up operations and strengthening control lines throughout the day.

Work continues in the eucalyptus grove, where specialized felling crews are identifying and removing fire-damaged trees to reduce hazards and ensure firefighter and public safety.
