Current Situation
Situation Summary
The Euclid Fire began near Highway 71 South and Euclid Avenue in the City of Chino Hills. The fire pushed aggressively east, crossing the freeway and burning into the riparian area. Bulldozers were deployed to construct containment lines and successfully established fire breaks around the perimeter. Forward progress has been stopped, and aircraft have been released from the incident. Fire crews will remain overnight in the Prado Drainage area conducting mop-up operations and vegetation thinning.
