Current Situation
Situation Summary
The fire perimeter mostly remains within the Glass Fire footprint (2020). Fuels consist primarily of grass, brush and dead timber.
Today, clear skies and increased humidity have continued to bring moisture recovery to the fire area. Large fuels continue to smolder within the fire perimeter as firefighters work to construct direct control lines within steep, rugged terrain.
Tonight, will bring increased humidity recovery as firefighters continue to strengthen control lines, conduct patrol and mop-up operations.
As repopulations occur, please remain vigilant as fire personnel will continue to work in the area.
