Situation Summary

On August 23, 2025, the Little Fire saw intense firefighting efforts as air and ground crews have been working tirelessly to contain the blaze. Storm cells brought much-needed rain and moisture, which aided in slowing the fire’s progress. Night flying operations and crews will be working through the night.

Tulare County Fire Department Type 3 Incident Management Team has taken command of the fire as of 3:00 P.M.
