Over the past 5 days, CAL FIRE Siskiyou Unit has successfully contained and controlled 37 fires within the State Responsibility Area. Our resources continue to assist the Klamath National Forest (KNF) and Shasta-Trinity National Forest (SHF) with both new and ongoing incidents within their Direct Protection Areas.
Containment on the Lightning Complex has reached 100%. We extend our gratitude to all the firefighters, both near and far, who contributed to quickly stopping these fires, as well as to the many personnel working behind the scenes to support the response.
