Current Situation
Situation Summary
Crews made good progress building containment line on the Granite Fire today. There was a small flare up this afternoon, but helicopters were called in to drop water on the flames.
The Granite Fire is burning in a remote location on timber land between Concow and Stirling City. It is not threatening any communities. The Butte County Sheriff's Office has lifted the lone evacuation warning in the fire area.
