Current Situation
Situation Summary
The Salt Fire continues to actively burn in light, flashy fuels with wind and terrain driven runs. However, fire behavior did moderate Friday night and into the early Saturday morning hours. Winds also moderated and did not impact the fire. The fire is burning primarily in grass, timber, and brush.
Evacuation orders and warnings remain in effect.
