2-7 Fire

Evacuation Warnings

Potential threat to life and/or property. Those who require additional time to evacuate, and those with pets and livestock should leave now.

Evacuation Warnings issued for the following zones:

2-7 Fire

CCU-114, CCU-115, CCU-132-A, CCU-133-B, CCU-134-A, CCU-134-D, CCU-134-F, and CCU-143-B.

Additionally, the following areas have been downgraded to Evacuation Warnings:

Residences accessed via Vallecito Bypass Road
Residences accessed via Bowling Green Road
2870 Highway 4 and all areas south of that location
634 Six Mile Road and all homes northeast of that address
Zone CCU-134-A, CCU-134-D, CCU-134-F, and CCU-133-B

Residents in these areas are now permitted to return to their homes; however, they are advised to remain alert and prepared to evacuate again should conditions change. The evacuation shelter will remain open until further notice.

Six mile road will continue to be closed to through traffic between Highway 4 and 634 Six Mile Road.

6-5 Fire

Situation Summary

Incident Management Team 6 (Magaña) transitioned with the unit and took command of the complex at 12:00 PM.

Multiple fires remained active today with short range spotting, rollout and trees falling contributing to fire spread.

Increased day time temperatures and lack of cloud cover are contributing to decreased moisture in the vegetation throughout the complex area. Northwest winds are expected to continue throughout the area.

Crews will continue to construct containment line through the night.

A Damage Inspection Team has arrived, and initial assessments are underway.
