Current Situation

Situation Summary

Today brought calm conditions with no visible fire activity. Crews remain hard at work, fully engaged in keeping all 21 fires within established control lines.  Suppression repair is also currently being done to restore the landscape and address impacts left behind by fire. During mop up, teams continue to scan for any hot spots using infrared camera technology.
Use caution when returning home due to emergency crews working in the area.

Access is limited to residents only in the following areas: 

  • Six Bit Ranch Road
  • Six Bit Gulch Road
  • Redhills Road (within the fire footprint)
  • All of Chinese Camp Town
  • Menkee Hess Road (within the fire footprint)
  • Highway 120 and 49 (within the fire footprint)
  • Shawmut Rd. (within the fire footprint)
