Current Situation

Situation Summary

Short range spotting, rollout and trees falling were observed overnight by firefighters. Efforts to establish and improve containment lines will continue today on all active fires and mop-up will continue on fires that have reached containment.

Increased daytime temperatures and lack of cloud cover are expected again today. Moisture in vegetation throughout the complex area will slowly increase during the day as terrain driven and Northwest winds will continue with the possibility of outflow winds from thunderstorms in the area.
A Damage Inspection Team has arrived, and initial assessments are underway.
